Double Duty

Well first let me say that I'm sorry for completely spacing last week!! Our girls started school last week and then today was my first day back to school in 15 years. So my mind was a bit out of it last week, to say the least. To make up for it I've posted a number of new items that I hope you'll like.

I've added more crocheted ribbons, a new empty sachet and some of the larger doilies that I have. My favorite out of the lot is the black and white ruffled doily I have a picture of here. This is made for a small round table so that the edge can hang over and allow the ruffles to hang naturally.

I don't starch any of the items I crochet since the starch can yellow over time. All my crocheted items can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water and your favorite detergent. After washing simply lay the item(s) out to air dry flat. You can iron the item(s) on a low heat setting if you wish to press them.

All my shop items are made in a smoke and pet free home. They are stored in plastic containers with lavender to keep the plastic smell and critters away.

Tuesay's Musings

I hope that you enjoyed your weekend as much as we did. My husband had a four day weekend and we all enjoyed having him home. It's been a rare treat for us. In my shop yesterday I added a doiley and some new sachets. I'll be adding another doiley and some placemats with napkin ties later on today. Don't forget to stop by and see them.

Holiday Mood

Well today I was in a bit of a holiday mood I guess because I've added holdiay items to my shop. I guess having my husband home finally put me into it, lol! I even started a Christmas afghan this week that I'm hoping will turn out nice. I hope you will stop by and check out the ornaments, boxes and eggs that I've added in the "Hand Painted" section in Golly Mezzo on Artfire.
